Liz & Chris - The White Hart - Derbyshire Wedding
The wedding of Liz and Chris was a sizzler, literally because this was the hottest day of the year, in fact I believe it was the hottest day ever locally at 35 degrees. So this was going to be a challenge, not just for photography but for the bridal party too.
The ceremony took place at the gorgeous countryside venue of The White Hart, Moorwood Moor in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. This is a perfect little hotel, ceremony venue, function room and pub with some beautiful grounds for photographs and wandering around with a cocktail.
The morning started with Bridal prep of course, Liz and her daughters and nieces had all stayed in the hotel the night before and we were greeted with a room full of bridesmaids, dresses, make up and shoes. There were 7 younger bridesmaids, 2 of Liz's sisters and 2 young paige boys.
This was to be a small intimate ceremony with about 30 or so close family guests followed by much needed cocktails on the patio and wedding breakfast in the function room.
The ceremony was made extra special as both Liz and Chris's daughters read out their own speech to let everyone know how they felt and how proud they were of their Mum and Dad on this special day.
What was to come was the huge party a week later at their stunning farm which was attended by more family and friends. Included was a bouncy castle, bucking bronco which I was desperate to go on by the way. All the guests
had an amazing time and we were all blessed with some great weather to enjoy it all.
Here's a few images from both days
